While Shin and Goshen are battling against Baby and their mind controlled family, something makes Shin snap.

He's battling against his great-great grandfather Goku who is a super saiyan four when he launches a blast at him.

He isn't able to dodge it in enough time and it goes through his chest resulting in the tear in his gi.

While he's bleeding out, Goshen gives his last sensu bean to Shin and engages Goku in a fight.

Once Shin is back in action, he attacks Baby but is easily slapped aside.

When Baby blasts him with an attack that Goshen and Shin both know will kill him, Goshen jumps in the way.

The blast hits Goshen and he seems dead but Shin is too overwhelmed with anger and sadness to check.

His eyes turn teal as he stares Baby down.

He is becoming a super saiyan!
